That definately is a good idea to maybe pull out the Austin and College Station / surrounding area guys.

Maybe we can plan this a little later in the summer, maybe September, have more of an East / Central Texas Titan meet???

I like the Chadster's idea. I love to golf, but don't know about Zima?

Anyway a friend of mine is Tim Spell, auto writer for the Houston Chronicle. I showed him the link to the site, and Texas Forum, the pics from last meeting. He wants to know if he can post the panoramic pic from the last meet in the CARS * TRUCKS section (Car Clubs) with all of us standing by our trucks. I need all who have panoramics to send them to me ASAP "unedited" so he can pic the one he wants to place in the paper. He also wants to place info
on the next meet so we better POLL it up for the 17th. : )
Are there any objections to what I am doing here? It's good publicity for the TT and the TX forum.

He did also say that the resolution had to be acceptable for it to go to print. SOOOO
That means the pic may also not run.
He asked me it that was my son standing in front of me... : ) the HEAD

If you are not sure what I am talking about pick up last Sunday's Chronicle if you have it,
pull out the CARS * TRUCKS section. Tim's pic is on the front, and then go to the club section on p8

Hell yeah!!!!! That would be awesome Hamop. It looks as though we're getting notoriety. This is fantastic. Thanks for hopefully getting this done.

Maybe you should ask the head if he would be willing to fix his sig pic in order to include good ol' hamop. Other than his sig pic, you show up just fine in all of the other panoramics.

That's why I asked for the group that has the pics to send them unedited to me directly.
My friend has to pic which one to put on the page in the paper.

How do you want us to supply the uncropped images? I can upload mine to my website and then give you the links for him to be able to see them. Also, I'm not sure I understand the reference about the resolution. I assume that as long as the resolution is not too low, then they can crop/compress the image to fit their space, correct? My images full images are 2048x1536.

Alright guys. We're shifting gears here. Hamop has a buddy that MAY post our picture in the Sunday paper along with information on our next meet. Once hamop knows whether or not the picture is going to be run in the paper, I am going to post an ultimate decision on where and when the meet will be held. I have already spoken (via phone) with both Havock and Abu and both of them agree that if we are forced to nail down the information now as a result of the picture post, we will be having the meet in Memorial Park on July 17th. The reason that we agree that the Memorial Park idea is the way to go in this case is because we feel that this newspaper write-up could potentially bring a lot of newcomers that will show assuming that they don't have to drive too far for their first meet with a bunch of strangers. The objective is to reel in the crowd and the only way to do so is to first, make it convenient. Chad, your ranch idea is awesome and hopefully that is something that you would be willing to offer again sometime in September or something once the weather is cooler and we have a few more "meet-ers" under our umbrella. I know this all sounds a tad abrubt but we don't have time to go back and forth trying to make decision IF we end up being forced by the newspaper to do so. Thanks for understanding.

Hamop, please let us know as soon as you get information about this issue. If the picture is going to run, then we need to know when. Once you have that information, you may move forward with the date and location above. Also, since it has worked in the past, the meet time will be from 2:00 to sundown, again that is assuming we end up doing this at Memorial Park.

Aggie, can you please get together a map so that if hamop wants to provide it to his buddy for the purpose of the newspaper he will have something to give to him? Thanks ag.
