O.K., I'm in also. I'm coming from the opposite side of the metroplex so some directions to the park would be great. I will bring the sweets.

Basically, no matter where you are coming from, get to 114. go north on 121 (towards Lewisville). Exit Bass Pro Blvd. Feel free to stop at Bass Pro Shops Go over the bridge and keep going until it dead ends ... go left (south on Hwy. 26). Take the 1st right (there will be a big sign that says Silverlake Marina and Silverlake Park as well as the golf course). Go and take the first left in to the marina/park. Stay to the right and mosey on down to the park.

I think that is a good idea!! I had put a notice in the Top Level general discussion of both the Dallas and Houston meets, but one the mods moved it back to local discussion, defeating the purpose.
Doing my best to get the word out to all the Titan owners I know. I've never been to this park but hopefully it can accomodate a lot of full-size trucks. I know D/FW can do better than this..

It's a pretty nice park, very scenic considering it is Dallas. I guess we have to start somewhere.. But I would think we could get at least four more titans out for it.
Yeah and there are millions of Titans in D/FW, more in Dallas, or so it seemed, when I was out there last week. I'd come but I'd feel like a traitor. Technically "our" QX56 is really my fathers, but I consider it mine. I drive it every chance I get, so doesn't that count? And since I wasn't financially able to buy a titan when He wanted and SUV I played a major role in telling him to check it out, and really talking about how great the Titan was and how the SUV version would be great too. Now I just gotta upgrade my truck sometime soon. Maybe in time for the next meet (Assuming all things go well, or miracles happen, or whatever)
TitanJB, grab the QX56 and come on out. Would be great to see it. It's still a Datsun! Hope you can make it.

LOL - you know my father gave the Nissan dealer a hard time about Datsun's, and he didn't know what to say. He said "You know, I used to live in Missouri, and they had salt on the roads, so this may be less of a problem down here but, nearly every datsun you'd see would be all rusted out. Have they done anything to change this?"
I may just have to start refering to the Infiniti as the Datsun, and see how he likes it.
I also just realized that it's a saturday and that I work until atleast 2:30 or 3 pm, and it would be atleast 4 or 4:30 before i made it out to grapevine. But, we will see, maybe I'll get off a little earlier than usual or something.

Good job with the meet though. Eventually we're going to have to do a Nissan Titan Offroad retreat, maybe meet some place with a variety of good hills and offroading adventures, with a range of difficulty and maybe also a picnic area. Maybe do some camping. Just a few ideas.
People at the RX-7 forums had some pretty well attended and organized meets, with some on the weekends for the whole US! That might be stretching it for the Titan, but a Texas state-wide meet is a possibility.
