Aluminum billet grill????

You guys think it's OK to get a set of aluminum instead of stainless steel grill. Not sure what is needed for weather here in Houston, TX.

Mine is aluminum. I would certainly tend to believe that it would resist the elements better than one of the stainless variety. Good luck.

If the aluminum is clear coated it won't oxidize otherwise you may end up polishing it once in a while. I've had polished aluminum rims and engine parts in the past and they required the occasional polish because of oxidation. I'm in So. Cal. but not right next to the ocean. A quality stainless steel material is more resistant to corrosion/oxidation however it can "stain" with rust from something else like the screws if they are rusted.

BTW, the ends of the "bars" are finished differently between the two materials. The billet grilles have smooth edges at the ends while the stainless (at least Grille4U) grille is sharp since it's hollow bar stock but the end are plugged with filler. You may or may not like that.
