NISSAN TITAN ARMADA MEET - OCTOBER 1st DALLAS

We will possibly have a followup mini cruise to a Sonic

LOCATION:
Rockledge Park on North Side of Lake Grapevine

Last time we met at Silverlake Marina, which is a Pay Park and
was mostly closed because of road construction across the dam.
The Road is now open. So if you go past SilverLake Marina on Fairway Drive
Rockledge park is on the left, after you cross the dam. When you enter the park area, just keep to the left, and it will take you down the long end of Park Road One as seen in the map. It overlooks the lake and is a nice view.

There's a Razoo's at s/w corner of Spring Valley and 75 (just north of 635)?
With Plenty of Parking!!
If we meet at a park, make sure we can Cook-out.
(some City parks do not allow fires, but lake parks, do.)

I know this isn't my gig, but parks are always cool because you have no limit to the length of time you can spend, or the amount of space the group can consume. Just a thought. Again, this gig belongs to you guys. I'll take a back seat and see how this thing progresses.

Going to go ahead and make a decision,

North Lake Park, Irving, Texas off of Belt Line Road
Just north of 635.

Let's do Saturday October 1st at North Lake Park @ 11:30am

North Lake isn't too pretty, but It doesn't seem to be too busy
we can do a little cook out, and it's small enough not to get
lost at.

Can someone scope it out this week if you live by there, and
check the status of the parking lots, access, etc. ?

If not I will make a trip out there.

October 1st works for me!

I think the lake park would be the idea spot to meet and eat. Then cruise the town and takeover a Sonic. Should we post this info over at ClubTitan also?
What about letting some of our local dealers know and see if we can get a sponser & some free giveaways??? (Grubbs,DonDavis,Thornhill or Bankston in Irving) just a thought

Elbo - sounds good. I'm usually in Irving once a week. I should be able to stop by and scope it out. Again thanks for stepping up to head this up for us. Should be fun and I'm looking forward to meeting some of you and checking out your Titans. I'm always joyriding so if any of you guys see a heavyset black guy with a galaxy black Texas Titan, that's me. Blow your horn and say Hi or something.

I've put the word out at least in the Group Forum over at ClubTitan and on the Nissan Armada forum. I also posted a message over at the Edmunds Inside Line Titan forum. I will also post it to Craigs List.

Problem is I think a lot of people never drill down to these pages in this section, so I am going to see if the moderator will let us get a sticky for a week or week and a half up in the main forum.

North Lake Park, it is!!
I went to Courtesy Nissan (in Richardson, Tx.) today, and found that the parts MGR. Steve Richardson is "the Man" to talk to for Clubs, Events/Promotions.
I have his card and will try to contact him soon.
-If for nothing else, than to notify Other Titan/Armada Owners!!

I REALLY want to meet MORE than one other Titan Owner?!

i wish i could, but i have to pay for my pride and joy some how. although i do have some vacation time, and if i play it right, i could tell my girlfriend we could go to the aquarium afterwords. so i could get payed, hang out with ya'll and keep her happy. thats better than a vacation.
