Remote Start and Install

Does anyone have any suggestions where to buy a good auto start and get it installed in the DFW area?

Any help would be appreciated.

No Al & Ed's here, but I just got a quote from EarMark Car audio for $250 installed. Not sure if that is a good deal or not.

Re: Remote Start and Install

Guess it depends on what system they install. Some are better than others. Viper, Crime Stopper, DEI are a few that come to mind. Do a search for remote start and you should find lots of good info here.

I'd like to get it installed. I don't think I would have the patience or knowledge to do it correctly myself.

Re: Remote Start and Install

an add on rs requires you to have an alarm or a keyless entry system in order to trigger the rs.

Re: Remote Start and Install

had it installed in my chevy before i bought the titan and maybe only used it twice in two years, so this time around i decided not to use it. i guess i got it just for show since down here the weather is pretty nice. i just sold it about a week ago for 20 bucks. and yes theyre easy to install and have lots of options.
