Fun Friday Night
We had an exciting Friday night. Shelly and I along with our friends Pam and Bobby went to Alamo House to see Talladega Nights (Great Movie). When we left a drunk driver rear ended my Nissan Titan at about 40MPH while we were standing still at ared light at Mason and I-10. He then nearly ran me over, my arm was all he caught with his windshield as he sped away (leaving his license plate and bumper behind). A few minutes later he was wrapped around a Telephone pole on his way to the ER. He's now in jail facing DUI, failure to render documents, and depending what the DA decides to do, possible attempted manslaughter for trying to hit me. I'm a bit sore and so is Shelly but we'll live. Pam was bleeding a bit from hitting her head but she's okay, and Bobby was okay. The truck held up very well with just some minor damage to the bumper, tailgate and passenger side of the bed. Pretty good considering the guy never even tried to slow down before hitting us. Glad we didn't take the Murano it could have been worse. I didn't have a single drink in me, although if I did I probably would have been sober in the 2 hours it took for the Sheriffs department to get on the scene as they were dealing with the other guy a few miles away.

That really sucks man. I am glad to hear everyone is okay. You can always replace a titan but not a person.

wow. Good thing everyone was ok. Its unbeleivable what people are capable of doing (especially drunk people).
Now, will his insurance company pay? Or is it criminal and therefor he has to pay out of pocket?

im sorry to hear about what happened, but i work at the other alamo at the west oaks mall. im glad u enjoyed the movie experience but i sorry for what happened after.
