Dfw Titan Toys For Tots Cruz.......

Hey Guys I was thinking that we should try to do a Cruz for Toys fot Tots. I remember when I was with my old unit in California and how much joy was brought to the children that got the toys that we helped collect. I am not thinking about a cruz that is very long but something that would maybe help promote the DFW Titans as well as Toys for Tots and help the Marine Corps gather more toys for the children of the metroplex. If anyone has any ideas please feel free to put it here as far as days and times, I understand that the holidays are upon us and things of that nature but we all should reflect on our good fortune this past year and try our best to pass along what we can for those who are not as fortunate as we are. Sometimes it is that little something that makes such an impression on a child or a parent that can make the rest of their life so lets get fired up about this and see what we can do.

I was thinking that December 10th would be a good idea. I am also thinking that I will contact the Lex and Terry Show to see if they want to help as well. Talk to all of you guys later and one more thing, if you see a person in a Titan at a light, parking lot or where ever mention Titantalk.com and lets try to get the word out even more now.

Later Wally

Re: Dfw Titan Toys For Tots Cruz.......

Wally, we have an active Xterra club swxc.org and a Texas Nissan Trucks club texasnissantrucks.com here in TX. As a retired Marine I think this is a good idea and maybe we could generate some interest with these clubs. We did a combined run a few years ago "Lap around Dallas" with a bunch of clubs for an abuse shelter and it did GR8. Let me know what you think!

Re: Dfw Titan Toys For Tots Cruz.......

If you mean the clubs than hell yes. I am personal friends with the guys on both Board of Directors. If you mean the local Marine unit than no... but I am sure I could introduce myself very easily
