Re: DFW Dealers

Battlewagon, I was offered slightly less than 30k on an 07 cc 4x2. That's close to invoice according to kbb.com

Re: DFW Dealers

If I was in the market for another Titan, I would hold off right now.
I think it is a bad time to buy.

The all-new Titan will be hitting dealerships, probably around October. It is going to cause the dealerships to have to offer huge incentives to get rid of the now out-dated Titans.

I bet there will be rebates going around 8 to 10k off.

That's a big loss to be buying one right now.

Besides you might decide you would rather have the newer model. although they aren't going to deal on them when they first hit the lots. The newer ones will have a better resell. All of our current Titans, mine including are getting ready to take about a 2k hit in depreciation in a single month come October.

Re: DFW Dealers

I just picked up a 06 CC SE 4x4 from Bankston in Irving. They actually had to fly someone to Amarillo to drive it back. All they had was an 06 LE I was interested in. I've bought and sold lots of vehicles and never had a dealership go to the extent they did. Big factory rebate, lots off the price and a lot more on my trade than anyone else offered. All this for a truck not even on their lot! Great service! I was wanting an '06 instead of an '07. There are bigger rebates, but they are few and far between. They do have a nice Silver CC LE 4x4 that ended up at 30k after rebate and discounts. I can tell you who to talk to.

Re: DFW Dealers

Even though I bought my Titan at Don Davis it came from Bankston of Lewisville. Of the 2 Titans in the area I was interested in, I never visited the lots they were actually on. As I said before, most dealerships will trade amongst themselves with the exception of Trophy and Nissan of Mickinney, most of the others won't do business with them.
Elbo has a good point, the rebates have already started. I heard one the other night for $4000 off MSRP. Probably not as good of a deal as getting one for invoice then taking a manufacturers rebate, but it demonstrates Elbo's point well, the rebates are starting. Alot of Titans were sold the last quarter of 06 due to the rebates and now that those are gone I'm sure sales are stagnant.

Re: DFW Dealers

I have to agree with Trophy service department. I've only used once and will never use again. I have bought 3 vehicles from trophy and it is always a beating. The last 2 I have bought have been from Urban Nissan. Most recently last week we bought an LE pathfinder from them. Floyd McGriff is a cool cat to do business with. Their service department is pretty good to.

Re: DFW Dealers

From some other threads and according to Nissan News the "refreshed" 08 Titan is going on sale in the Spring. Which makes for a super short 07 Model year, so there should be some good deals on them (07's) really soon.

I might have to give them a try because none of the stealerships around here are any good I've tried Peltier Nissan in Tyler cause they are alot closer to me but after 3 attempts for them fix the A/C at i think 2000 miles i took it back to Dallas waited 30 days for a part that Peltier said they did the TSB
Trophy DID finally get the A/C right after 1 try but have failed miserably trying to service my truck there after

and i dunno about a new headache i really love the truck and i really hate the big 3 but i dunno that i would ever purchase another Nissasn vehicle again ever

Since your in Athens, give Urban a try off 20 just past 67. Ask for Joey. He is a young guy but will take care of you and actually listen when it comes to the service department.
