Re: 3" body lift?

I second that. From what I've been reading on here, body lifting a Titan can take 3 days. A 4" suspension, 3 hours. When I was doing sales/installs, I suggested body lifts only after reaching the limits of the suspension, and trimming of the fenders.

Re: 3" body lift?

To me, the 4" looks good regardless if it's a 2wd or 4wd. In my opinion, it's not to tall and not to low, its just right.

Re: 3" body lift?

whats your budget?

Rough breakdown would be around $1700 w/ the following (off www.prgproducts.com):

Spindle lift: $900
Includes: CST 4" spindle
2" Rear block w/ U-Bolts
PRG/Bilstein Rear shocks

Radflo 2.0 front shocks: 799; adjustable for another 2-3"

You could upgrade the rear shocks to Radflo 2.0, or add the Deaver Mini-pack. There are lots of options available, depending on your needs and budget. Call PRG, speak to Greg; he'll set you up with somethng that meets your needs and budgets. And hang around here long enough, you'll hear lots of people saying nothing but positives about his customer service.

i<3mytitan, what size rims and tires do you have? I have been looking for some ideas but its hard to tell what would look good just by looking at the dimnsions. Would a 325/65/18 size tire look good with a 4" lift?

Rims are 20x8.5, 5" backspace. Tires are 325/60/20 Kumhos.

I think a 325/65 would look good w/ a 4" lift....you MAY have issues w/ rubbing along the inner fender, or pinch weld, depending on width and backspacing.

Re: 3" body lift?

Suspension, body lifts are more for show, suspension lifts are for use.

Re: 3" body lift?

Thanks for the reply.

I have seen sever photos of lifted Titans that seem to have a slight rearward rake, the front having more lift than the rear. I would not want to have this on my truck, if there is going to be a slight rake, I’d rather have it with the rear slightly higher than the front. It's hard to figure out what hardware provides the best lift. Some owners use different size blocks, some use spacers, it's hard to nail down just what combination of components work best. At first I thought that a 4" lift would be best, but then I saw several photos having a 6" lift installed and it looks real good.

The photo below shows a titan with a slight rearward rake:

Re: 3" body lift?

Do a 4" CST spindle lift and a 2 1/2" leveling kit. You wont regret it.

You will get a more definate answer if you gave us a budget you're on. OR you can just call PRG and tell Greg your needs...
