Brakes at 61K

I've got just over 61K on my 05 Titan KC, with the original brakes ( factory brake recal was done at 3K). I'm taking another long trip to Colorado this summer and was curious when everyone is experiencing the need for new brakes and how many miles did you get out of the original set. I can do the work myself, but I think I'll use dealer parts since I've gotten 61K+ out of this set. I've never gotton 61K out of a set of brakes.

Re: Brakes at 61K

I normally go about 60-80K for a set of brakes on my trucks. My Titan only has 30k miles and it is about time for me to do a brake job. Anyone know if the 2006 Titans got the brake recall?

Re: Brakes at 61K

I had the brake judder fixed at 8K miles. At about 38K miles they were bad again. I went after market with DBA rotors and Akebono pads.
61K miles is the most I heard of with OEM brakes also.

Re: Brakes at 61K

My chevy brakes wore like iron and they stopped well. I told the truck with 70k on it and the pads still had another 70k on em easy.
