Recommended DFW area dealer for warranty service work?

Hello all:

Longtime lurker, first time poster (I believe). Before my factory warranty ends, and I start the never-ending mod process, I thought I would get my truck in top shape.

I have a 2005 SE 4x2 KC in need of some warranty service before the factory warranty expires in 2 months. I bought my truck from North Texas Nissan, but they are quite far away from my house now (I'm in Plano), and would like to solicit some recommendations on dealers/specific service technicians that folks on this forum might be willing to share with me. I'm open to driving a fair distance (even back to North Texas Nissan) if folks here feel the service dept/techs are solid to deal with.

Most of the work I need done is TSB-related (brake shudder, A/C causes wet spot in pax footwell, condenser fan rattle, rear sliding window track leak) and a recall for the trailer wiring harness. I'd of course prefer to have a service dept./tech familiar with the TSBs, or at least be open to having me bring a list of TSBs I believe should be applied in my particular situation.

Any recommendations for/against certain service depts or techs greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Mark C.

Re: Recommended DFW area dealer for warranty service work?

I have used Nissan Of Mckinney a few times and never had any problems with the work. I just traded a 2004 CC Titan for the 2008.5 CC Titan and all of the warranty work on the 2004 was done there. I had the brakes fixed, a couple of power window switches replaced, switch for the power captains seat replaced, and any TSBs done there under warranty with no problems. Not sure I would recommend the sales department I had no luck dealing with them on the trade for the 2008.5.
