Ethanol anyone?

i usually fill up with 93, but now since it's reached $3.95, i wanted to give up on that and switch. anyone know of any cheap e85 stations here in Spring or the northside in general?
funny thing, i didn't know my truck was an FFV until after i bought it at the stealership.

Re: Ethanol anyone?

Your vin# has it in it and a label should be on the inside of your gas door.

Are you tuned for 93? If not why not just put in 87?

i figure higher octane, so it must be cleaner. my dad, before he gave me the truck, always put it in so i never bothered to change octane nor switch different brand gas. i found citgo by my house always had it cheaper, sometimes as much as regular so why not?

Yep. i believe it says "Unleaded Gasoline or Ethanol (E85) Only" or u can check ur vin on the windshield if it has the code FFV in there somewhere. You should try half and halfing the tank with the two so ur truck can get used to it tho like mentioned earlier.
