Axle

k I have a few questions about our axle... mine is f**ked and I was going to get it sleeved and trussed, but while I was talking to one of the shops, they said "why not just sell your internals and get a 9" or a fabricated axle, then fill it with the proper things, as it would cost around the same after selling the parts you currently have"

should I do that, I know the GMR and giant make fully built axles for about 2500 if you dont get the brakes with it... would I be able to use the titan brakes/ hub on an axle like that, and if I could would I throw codes? or have to do a bunch of electrical work?????? i know I would need a new drive shaft.... but other than that it comes with everything....

well let me know... thanks...

Re: Axle

If I had my choice, I'd go with a ford 9" over the Dana 60...only because ove the unsprung weight factor, the 9" being lighter....I don't know of anyone doing a 9" and adding some sort of ABS tone rings to keep the "Christmas Tree Effect" out of the the dash...
