What happened to the DIY'er?!
Been doing some searching on here for the procedure of axle seal replacement... Seems to me everyone is taking there babies to a shop? NOT ACCEPTABLE! lol j/k, but seriously has anybody replaced them? I have the bastard tore apart right now... waiting to get my bearing pressed off (collar came off nicely after drilling a hole almost all the way through and smacking her with a chisel!) My main question, for those who HAVE replaced- did you go with a timken bearing? I have the new one and it seems the race is the same diameter wise- however it seems thicker? wondering if this will work
