Dodge guys are funny to listen to

http://www.dodgetrucks.org/forums/vi...ighlight=titan

It's funny to listen to these dudes shake in their little booties as they realize that 305 japanese horsepower really kicks the sh*t outta 345 hemi horses. Damn, I'm pretty sure months of debate and readin the answers to the question I posed about the Titan vs. Ram have helped me come to a decision, and I don't think it has to do with "grabbin life by the horns"!!!

They say some funny stuff over there. My favorite post there stated:

"I'm proud to have my 9.25" in my rear end."

I don't know about a Chrysler 9.25. I would never complain about the Dana 44 in the offroad package w/the Titan.

Take it from a guy who just traded in a 2002 4x4 Dodge QC 360, the Titan is much better built, gets decent gas mileage, and has gobs and gobs of power. I have also driven a Hemi reg. cab and I can honestly say the Titan has much better acceleration. I was lucky to average 10 mpg in the Dodge.

There are goofballs on that board like there are here at times. My favorite is the guy that puts everyone else down because he owns a heavy duty truck and the rest of "us" have only half tons. Some of the people I know with heavy duties have the same attitude. My father-in-law has a 3/4 ton, Cummins, 4X4, Xcab, LWB he uses to pull a 3,000# boat because he doesn't feel like a 1/2 ton is enough truck. Never mind that it rides like an ox cart. If he had bought a 1/2 ton truck he would've saved enough money to buy a bigger boat.

Overall I was impressed with the quality of the discussion. It's not what I expected when I went over there. I guess I was expecting everyone to be like the Hemi guy from the commercials.

Having a little race on 7/11 at Houston Raceway Park. Would like to see how the Titan REALLY does against our slow hemi's.

You mean all the independent magazines showing the Titan blow away the Hemi in 0-60 and 1/4 mile times isn't enough for you? You'd rather get embarrassed in person? If I was anywhere near Houston, I'd be there in a second to watch you get your *** handed to you by the far superior Titan.

The funny part is complaining about the dana 44. They don't understand how strong
this piece is because the lower numerically axle ratio means the pinion gear is larger
and stronger. Generally 4.11 gears are not as strong as 3.73 and so on and so on.
The Nissan dana 44 is alot stronger than your basic dana 44 running 3.73 or 4.11 gears. My understanding is the pumpkins are Dana and the housing and rest of the
stuff is Nissan.

No offense to you guys, but i have seen several titans at the track and none of them on the track. They are all watching. Titan21 was supposed to meet someone for a friendly run, but never showed up. Beating Grandpa on the street, and then posting threads about it is not racing. I could be wrong, but it just seems like alot of Blow, and no show going on.

If you read my post a few above, all I did was reference where several mags have the Titan beating the Hemi from 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. I'm not sure about mods and all that other Jazz, but what I'm stating is fact. Stock Hemis have constantly run slower times, in several different mags. So I don't know about dudes runnin on the tracks, but the mags all got the Titan beatin the Hemi - FACT.

No problem, I have been a member here for awhile, and i enjoy your guys info. I wont start any hemi posts, but i will defend them when i see them. Stock hemi's run no where near them #s in those mag's, and if some of you would go to a real track, and stop reading mags you will see that.
