Question AMP TEMP GAGE vs AIR TEMP GAGE ???

In the Autometer line of Gages, I see an Amp Temp Gage. Never seen the word Amp used for Temp before.

In the Cyberdine line of Gages, I see an Amp Temp Gage and a seperate Air Temp Gage which, IIRC, has a slightly higher Temp range.

All of these use a remote sensor.

Both of these observed on Jeg's site.

Can somebody fill me in on the definitions and application of correct style gage?

OK, I found someything in a Cyberdine PDF. The Amplifier has an eyelet style temperature sensor that is to be mounted under a screw or bolt, near a device you want to monitor, as opposed to ambient air entering your CAI.

"These are digital gauges made to monitor your stereo amplifier conditions."
