Question E-Locker Reviews

I have been searching and I have yet to see anthing from anyone who actualy has the E-Locker. My truck has the Locker and I am curious to hear any input from somebody who has it. However, I only could drive my truck around the lot becuase of tax issues before I put it on the ship. Needles to say, I got some interesting looks while I was testing it out in the parking lot. While Im twidling my thumbs waiting for it to arrive Im just curious to see what people think about it. I promiss to take it out and fully test it when it arrives, for those of you who are curious.

I have a question. You have the big tow and the offroad package with the e-locker right? So does this mean that nissan figured out how to have the e-locker and the vdc on the same truck or is vdc omitted on your truck?

Nope,
I dont have VDC. I have mixed emotions about this, but Ive always wanted an E-Locker and Ive never had a vehicle with traction control. I just cant wait to test it out. I posted a picture of the diferential itself if anyone cares to look for any diferences.

You drove your truck around a parking lot in 4lo, w/elocker on? Hope that parking lot was dirt or grass, and not pavement, otherwise you might not have a proper-workin elocker to test.

I knew somebody would bring that up. Ya that is not the way to do that. But I couldnt help my self. Besides, I was going in a straight line with the locker activated and I just couldnt stop from pushing all the buttons. I will always be a kid at heart. One thing I did notice though, there was a significant pause between activation and actual lock up. Any person who has wheeled before knows that any hesitation can mean the diference between avoiding a problem or being seriously stuck. Then again, its hard to tell in a parking lot. Dont worry, I will put it to the test in a way that will make most of you cringe.

Right off the back, I need to put on a bedcover. This truck will be used mostly for Scuba Diving and I need the extra security. Im also leaning towards the Rough country 2" lift in front. Im hoping that extra half" will lessen the shock problem. I wil be doing some mods like an intake and exhaust to help the fuel economy, but Im going to wait and see how it does first and allow for a proper break in. I want to do a DVD player and Navigation unit, but I will wait on that. You know what happens once the bug hits to start modifying, who knows were it will stop.
