I know the ratio for a Titan without tow package is 2.94 which is like a 3.73 four speed automatic. Do the Titans come with Dana 44, cuz i thought i heard that somewhere? I was just wondering in case i wanted to change them because of bigger tires.

Maxpowers,
Can't say it is an actual Dana 44, but is based on a DANA 44. Spec's below
and the service manual is listing as a M 226 2-pinion.

Engine and Driveline

• Nissan Endurance 5.6-liter DOHC V8 producing over 305 horsepower @ 4,800 rpm and more than 379 lb-ft of torque @ 3,200 rpm

• Aluminum block with cast iron cylinder liners, forged steel crankshaft, microfinished crankshaft and camshaft, molybdenum-coated pistons, 6-bolt main bearing caps, Super Silent single-stage timing chain)

• Standard 5-speed electronically controlled automatic transmission with tow/haul modes for enhanced fuel economy and towing capacity

• Available Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) with Brake Activated Limited Slip Traction Control (includes deactivation switch)*

• Rear axle based on the Dana 44 model

• Tire Pressure Monitor System
