What is correct Nissan oil filter number?

I went to Nissan today and bought 6 oil filters. They sold me part no. 15208-9E000. Got ready to do my oil just now, and started with LOOKING at the filter that came on it originally. It is part no. 15208-31U01. Needless to say I did not take it off and stopped right there, since the number is different.

Unfortunately they are now closed, so I can't call to check. I have 3,650 miles on it, and need to drive 600 miles tomorrow. So much for changing the oil by 3,750 miles.

Anybody know if the 15208-9E000 is interchangable with the 15208-31U01 that comes on the truck? The filter box lists the Infiniti, Maxima, Altima, Pathfinder, and "Pickup", with each one's engine code. Titan is not listed on the box. Has anybody else bought filters from the dealer, and if so which one did you get? Thanks.

Oh great. Now I know...... after I put everything away.

I guess yours hasn't burned up using it. Why does the stocker have a different number (at least the 2nd half of it)?
