Low-pitch rumble from Rear end

Like 2 days ago I started to notice a very Low-pitch rumble coming from the rear end of the truck. It only occurs when decelerating I would said above speeds of 20MPH. At first I thought is was a pair of subwoofers from another car that was near me, but after driving on the road with no other cars, it has to my truck. The rumble is very low, that I have to turn the radio off just to barley hear it. Has anybody had or has this problem? This is something I would like to fix before it gets worst.

I have a 2004 RWD with 105K miles. I replaced the rear diff fuild @ 90K with OEM fluid.

2004 SE Crew Cab with BIG tow. JBA Exhaust. aFe Power Magnum FORCE Intake. Superchips Flashfaq. Bilstein 4600.

Re: Low-pitch rumble from Rear end

While inspecting my carrier bearings, I found that my exhaust from the muffle-back is missing. So I found my problem.

Now I have a good reason to buy a Aftermarket exhaust. n

EDIT: just order a JBA

Re: Low-pitch rumble from Rear end

The way I understood your posts..

You hear a faint low pitched rumble.. Holy chalupas, you're missing the whole exhaust from the cats-back, and you're getting a JBA.

My thoughts..

If all I get is a faint low pitched rumble and only really hear the exhaust under decelerations. Why would I need a freakin' catback?I'm taking the Zoomers off right now..

Sorry I meant the muffler back. The reason I'm order a new a exhaust is the pipe exiting the muffler is pointing up into the underside of my bed.
