4.10 & trutrac installed, yesterday!!!

so happy!! charged me 580 total he said front installation kit didn't come with gaskets and i didn't provide oil. i had lucas put in it. truck runs great i love it..... havn't put it in the mud yet BUT, it did rain today

so maybe this weekend i'll test the trutrac out. i'm waiting on traction bars to get here before i romp on it too hard. oh ya, and i still have my cruise!!!

mechanic said he was surprised how easily the job went. everything came out and went it perfect. he complimented me on how good the underneath looked. he said he was impressed on how everything was designed. he said if he buys another truck he's prolly get a titan. i should get comission from nissan haha i'm selling my stock stuff go look in the for sale section.

How many rpm's are you spinning at 60? I plan to upgrade my axles when I pay mine off. What year is your Titan? I want a try trac as well but I'm an 09 and I don't think they make one for my year.

It will work just fine in your axle!
08+ Titans do NOT have 35 spline axles!!!!

stupid phone i put a post yesterday guess it didn't go through. so, ya it runs great no humming or anything. its raining and i made a turn yesterday i guess i'm use to it driving like it did. i spun out a little bit. aparantly i have more torque haha i don't have the mpg yet but i'm goin to houston later today so i will get it on that trip. going 68 mph rpms are 2050-2100 i think stock cruising speed at 70 was like 1990 somthing like that.

Cool if you could keep us posted on your RPM's and MPG difference I'm upgrading to heavy *** 35's next year and I have 2.94 gears and I want 4.10's or 3.73's. 4.10's sound promising though.

if its ur daily driver ud get better mpg with 3.73 if u mud allot and just a toy 4.10 wld be ideal.

Where did you get them installed? I live about an hour from College Station. I found a shop in Tomball, but I have asked twice now for an OTD quote, and they won't give me an answer. What is the shops name and number? Do you have any advice, or concerns with your install.

i got 12 mpg on half a tank goin to houston. thats about half and half hwy and city driving. i got mine done and j and k standard transmission 9797780378 he did a really good job. really fast i dropped it off at like 4 pm thurs and it was ready friday at like 1. i recogmend them. he charged me 580 thats with them supplying the oil and they had to buy a gasket from the dealer. i bought everythign from 4x4parts.com concerns: definately need traction bars axle wrap has increased due to more torque

which by all means is a good thing. ha i was getting 10 mpg before i had gears replaced. no concerns at this point i love it. def worth the money i plan on keeping this for along time.

If you ever have to put the stock wheels/tires back on for anything please let me know how it drives!

Maybe you will get bored this weekend and swap them over?

Specifically looking to see how the ECU handles shift points with 4.11's/33" tires. Thanks!
