ECU reset

? bought my truck recently with 2000 miles but dont like the way the truck drives. I was wondering if i do a ECU reset will be bad since is almost a brand new truck. any suggestion plz help.

Well it will take longer for your ECU to get used to you since it already got use to someone else. Just unplug your battery over night for around 10 hours and you should be set.

i did the complete ECU reset on it today but i was wondering if its safe since is a new truck i dont want to mess anything up.

also how can i check my ignition timing to see if everyting is fine after doing all resets? thanks

That's about right for idle. As for the timing I think a BDGT will check it. The Uprev Osiris will check it, your dealer can check it...just about anybody who can hook the proper diagnostic tool into your OBD II can check.
