Drivetrain or trany Clunk

I have notice a clunk, I guess in the drive train. However it happens when the truck is stopped. Normally like the first time I stop at a light after maybe 30 seconds of being stopped. Feels like the clunk you feel when putting it in drive. Not like when you don't use you ebrake on a hill. Just the normal clunk. I only notice it the very first time I stop and I'm pretty sure I need to be stopped for at least 30 seconds. It doesn't happen at subsequent stops and not at quick stops like at a stop sign. This seems to be a different form the clunk other report during braking or acceleration like I read about in this very long thread. I don't seem to have the clunks described here. http://www.titantalk.com/showthread.php?t=11185

Can you feel it too? Maybe you are low on trans fluid. Other clunking noises that the 4X4 makes, are when the transfer case shifts, or the e-locker. You don't want either one of those happening.

yeah

I haven't felt it today yet. I just got my first oil change done at the dealer. I wonder if they would have topped the trany fluid off and if that would or did have an effect. they say they do an inspection but their computer was down so I did get a recipt. Normally they list stuff like that there. Is yours doing the same thing?

Nope...and I hope that it doesn't. If you find what is causing your clunk, let us know...Thanks!
