Would be new rods and pistons. Would handle abuse better, for FI applications and even daily drivers. Seems like there are lots of Titans out there that ingest the catalytic converters. Currently the only way to help those customers is a junkyard motor, or a new short block from Nissan. One way is a bad idea, the other is expensive with no gain. This stage1 set up would be good for big power numbers for the guys that want or already are Forced Induction, or a better use of money for customers with NA builds.
I'm hoping if we get enough interest in these builds we can bring the rebuild price down to VQ levels (plus two additional rods and pistons). Right now a rebuild is astronomical because you have to custom rods and pistons and wait 6 weeks for them to arrive. No one, not a single company makes off the shelf rods and piston sets for the VK motor.
still gotta figure out the Trans problems tho...
