CB drop on stock height?

75k miles and I'm still searching for the source of the driveline vibration. After eliminating everything from tires/wheels, 2* shims in the rear, I'm down to driveshaft.

Has anyone tried the carrier drop kit on a stock height LWB (long bed CC) to eliminate the vibration?

Iz

Re: CB drop on stock height?

Guess what I should do is to strap the GoPro under the truck and watch the driveshaft in motion.

Re: CB drop on stock height?

with an add a leaf (2inch lft) on my kc 6ft bed. installed the cb drop from prg, it was insane vibration and binding... id hate to feel it with a stock height.

as per you vibration issue. the bed of your truck may be too light for the leaf pack when unloaded. soo your back end hops down the road. look into shackle upgrades, there are spring loaded shackles.. ill look into the name, they absorb the hop and smooth out the ride.

or... have you had your driveshaft rebalanced?
