What tool for differential plug removal?

Maybe this a dumb question, but I've never removed a differential filler plug, even though it sounds easy. What should I use to remove the differential filler plug? Some say the end of the appropriate size socket ratchet, but I've heard is not the the best idea.
Thanks, Ken

Unless someone has made something in the last few years, a ratchet and maybe an extension if needed is about your only choice. But it has been a while since i was on a tool truck.

Ken,

Ratchets are not the best choice for breaking fasteners loose.
That's how many ratchets get broken. A 3/8" breaker bar and
short extension are the best tools for the job.

FYI my bridge is not the one pictured in SarkaZm's avatar. My bridge is sturdy and would never shake like that.
