Transmisson issue

I just wanted to check to see if anyone else is experiencing this issue. When driving the and depressing the gas, you can her the winding but the car is not moving. It moves about 1000 rpms, before you can feel the truck moving and see the speedometer move. I was told that all Titans do this. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the replys. I did check the e-brake, the first time I found the issue, and asked the dealer to check to see if I mite have been stuck on. It has been dealer tested for other problems and each time they just say it is just how the transmission works, that it is all computer operated now. But I agree I think something is wrong as well.

Check for transmition oil licks... If I read correctly, you press the gas and the car does not move and a second later moves??.... then I would say the transmitoin is missing oil.

How many miles?... maybe it is time for an transmition-oil change, but first check for licks..
Good luck
I really hope I am wrong

The truck now has 1200 miles on it. It has been doing this since I got it. I just figured it was part of the breakin process like the dealer said. But I've talk to a few people how that have Titan including my sales rep who has a Titan and none of then ever had this issue.

Yeah buddy! I came to a stop light after some highway running. When the light turned green, tach moved up about 1000 rpms, but truck barely moved forward, almost like the parking brake was on. (It wasn't.)

Then, it accelerated without power, shifting at only 3000 rpm with accelerator pedal floored. I pulled over, shut the engine down, waited 20 seconds or so. When I restarted, it jumped back to life as if the episode never happened. It aggressively roared away, shifted near redline, completely transformed.

It's something in the software/electronics.

That episode should had been stored in the computer. Service should be able to get a code from that, and correct the problem.

Have a good one.
