Question.....I have a crew cab SE w/no Big Tow or Off-road Packages... I am tearing open my rear differential to install a limited slip...i figure that i may as well upgrade my gear ratio while I’m at it.....Do you think all that would be required is to change Drive pinion & the Drive gear from a 2.94 to a 3.36. And what type of specialist would i go to in order to have this work performed?

Attached diagram of my REAR FINAL DRIVE ASSEMBLY

Any idea's help or leads would be greatly appreciated..

Thanks,

Thats a sweet deal if they have a truetrac in the works. Ive emailed them about an LSD for my tundra 4x2 and got no reply. And tundras have been out for 5 years and share the same diff with T-100s and most Tacomas. And they still didnt make one as far as I know. So I got one of the last TRD LSD's sitting in the closet. I might get it installed eventually if they never make a truetrac for tundras.
