Front differential oil change?

I have a new 2005 crew cab LE 4x4 and was wondering if anyone has changed the fluid in the front differential yet. Does anyone know if it has a drain plug on it like the rear differential does. Does the front skid plate have to come off? I have not had an oppertunity to crawl under my new truck yet to check it out. Also I believe that I read in the owners manual that the front differential does not come with synthetic fluid like the rear differential does. I plan to drain and change both differentials fluid with the extreme duty gear oil that Amsoil sells. If the front differential has a drain plug I will do it myself. If not I will take it to the dealer and have them do it.

I did it to mine...It's the same as the rear. But dont overfill because it will spit up out of the pressure relief hose next to the airbox and make a helluva mess. trust me. You have to remove a bracket but not the skidplate.

What he said Wasn't too hard, just like the rear, changed mine when I was changing the oil. Make sure you get a pump for the gear oil, makes it a breeze.

So that's what that tube by the airbox is for? Was wondering about it when I replaced my air filter this weekend. Why was it placed at that location, any ideas?
