4X4 Front Axle Check Please.

I was wondering if some of my Titan Talk Brothers and Sisters who own 4X4 trucks could do a check of their front Axles for play. (whenever you have the time)

There has been some speculation about what is normal so I went out (with my new black jack of coarse ) and checked for play with the wheels on the ground, and then jacked up off the ground. My axles are solid and tight , no play at all. Now I need some others to check and report back so we have a base line here at T.T.

Don't want any bad information being passed out when asked by concerned members.

Thanks for your time.

Question Need some test directions Squid.....

Hey Squid......need better test directions!!
On Ground: If I grab the inner shaft coupling at differential and rotate front to back I get about 1/8" play.......
If I grab and pull the coupling at the differential in/out horizontally I get about 1/8" play.......
When we agree about how to test on ground and off I'll jack "Miss Honeykeeper" up and see.
HAPPY SPRING EQUINOX GUYS AND GALS!!!!!!!
It's not April 1 Squid!!
