Cajunguy, I was thinking of installing the same setup you are using 2.5' frt. 1" rear leveling kit and a 3' body lift. How difficult was it to install the body lift? Did you do it yourself? If not, what was a ball park to have it installed? Are you still happy with it? Any regrets or problems. I'd appreciate your thoughts before I get into it.
Thanks
First of all, I DON'T have the 1" Rear Leveling Kit, just the front level and body lift. (Pics are in my Photo Gallery)
Both kits were installed by a local shop, mostly because I didn't have the tools or the set-up to perform the installs. They also handled install of a new grille and fender flares for me. No major issues to report with either of the mods, except for these installation issues:
On the leveling kit, the installer left the CV boot off of the front drive shaft, and I lost the gear oil. After talking with Greg on the phone, I got it back on myself.
On the body lift, the (same) installer left a vacuum hose bracket in contact with the steering column, which produced a sound similar to a bearing failure. After grinding the bracket away from the column, no problems.
The ride of the truck is identical to what it was before the two kits were installed. Any other questions, please ask.

What is with the box looking thing between the bumper & hitch. I saw another Titan with the same thing. Is this exposed when lifted, come with the lift or something else? This and the front tow hooks were the only things that stood out it was a body lift. Made me wonder what I could use them there holes in the bumper for? I was thinking maybe some kind or light or something. Not sure yet. I was also thinking about the body lift first to see what it looks like without the 2.5 up front. The raked look might be ok a little higher. Not sure what that would mean for the tires though. Any benefit on the handling or traction with the 2.5 up front?
The "box looking thing between the bumper and the hitch" is just that - a bracket that re-mounts the big tow hitch to the lifted bumper. It comes with the P/A lift kit, and it's made out of plate steel. And since the tow hooks are mounted to the frame, they don't move with the bumper when lifted, either.
Total cost of the body lift, with labor and gap guards for the wheel wells, was $850.00.
Total cost of the PRG front lift, with labor and alignment, was $350.00.

a word to the wise if you have the money to spend on getting the body lift installed....DO IT. We did it one weekend and it was a huge Pain In The ***.....it may look easy but it takes some time to do it. We had nearly 21 hours invested and I would consider myself pretty mechanical.
Thanks for the info Cayjunguy. I had a feeling the box was really a brace or mount of some type. What are your thought about the towing capacity being compromised?
NewOrleansMike, thanks to you a bunch. 21 hours. I am hoping this was by yourself but I'm betting it wasn't. Was that a combined total or start to finish? I can imagine some nitemares doing a body lift (it would be my first although I have handled a few suspension lifts) but I am not sure if I am ready to tackle that. Is there a longer shifter rod that comes with the kit? And what about pedal & steering linkage, not to think of wiring harness length, etc, etc, etc?

The bracket/brace supplied with the lift kit for the big tow hitch is IMHO stronger than the bumper itself. I believe the rating for the hitch is above the limits of the truck, in addition to the fact that the hitch is mounted to the frame for strength. Long story short, the hitch is not compromised by the bracket.

21 hours was with me and my brother...but the radiator brackets came broken apart so we lost 2 hours going home to get a welder and welding brakets together.....the kit was missing some bolts so we lost an hour running to home depot....you know how **** goes. as far as shifter linkage there was nothing that needed to be done. The gas pedals and brake pedals all stayed the same. The hardest part about this kit was the steering nuckle, radiator parts not being welded up from the factory like shown in the directions, and trimming the bumper and reinstalling to get the gaps just right. but it really does look good, and does not squeak or rattle if you tourqe everything to specs like we did
by the way contact performance accessories and have them email you the directions so you can check it out...that's what i did but i don't have them on my computer anymore or I'd email them to you
