I think this the appropriate section to post this question.
The Titan's diff is not a big deal to fill, even though the angle is pretty bad for squirting from a quart bottle, but my Jeep and Astro van are a B!TCH to get the fluid in.
Does anyone know where to find a powered fluid pump?
I tried one of the manual ones from Auto Zone that thread on to the quart bottles, but it took about 1213214234 pumps to get all the fluid in and I won't be able to masturbate for a week
The manual pump is useless.
The only power one I found on JCWhitney.com required a 12-volt battery, used alligator clips. No good for reaching rear end, cords not long enough.
Isn't there something that uses batteries, or 120 volt, that is "affordable?"
PS. I tried a search and found only what I had already used and didn't like.

The Titan's rear differential is easy to fill.....just lower the spare tire and slide it out of your way. You can then squirt directly from the bottle. I usually back up on some small pieces of wood to get the fill hole/differential up a little higher and get a little more fluid in.
The front differential on a Titan is not as easy to fill. You might try a manual evacuation/suction pump.....it looks like a grease gun.....I'm not sure but I think it can also be used to fill once it is full of fluid. The cheapest solution ( with less mess to clean-up ) is to have a long enough tube attached to the quart bottle and let someone hold it up from above ( for front differential on a Titan ) while you hold the end of the tube in the fill hole.......if you have a cap to put on the tube when the differential is full it will be less messy if fluid is in the tube or just have them put a little at a time in while you hold the tube in the fill hole. You can also add a small squeeze clamp to shut the flow off with or without a second person holding the bottle from above. I am going to try this when it is time to refill the front differential on my Titan.

Thanks, but like I said the Titan is no big deal. Having trouble doing Jeep front and rear and Van by myself. I don't have any help but that is a good idea.
I'm really just looking for a powered pump. I have seen the elaborate evacuation systems at dealerships, I am not looking to set up a shop. I just want something under $20 that will help me out.

Not powered, but really inexpensive, and fairly easy if you have some arm strength are the $10 suction ones. They act like a big syringe, and have a short piece of tubing. Bought another for the transfer case's D-matic, and it was really easy with the thinner fluid, (or maybe that one just works easier?).
Note: Pick a non-windy day for any of you that are going to be doing the transfer case. I was covered with hundreds of little red spots.
BTW, I was using 80W90 on the differentials, so the 75W140 might be even a little tougher.

I also mentioned the manual transfer suction pump.....looks like a grease gun but works like a syringe. At Advance Auto Parts it is $9.88.part # W54220. I have one and will test it to see how it works...& let you know.

That looks alot better than what I was trying to use. It was squirting about as much out each pump as a sink's soap dispenser. Imagine filling the entire diff one pump at a time.
That syringe looks like it would be alot quicker.
I am still kicking myself, I can't find it in a search and I don't remember which member had the battery-operated pump. You just leave it on and turn it off when the fluid starts leaking out the fill hole. Damnit...

After filling the rear with 75-140! The amsoil I use was VERY thick! it was thicker than the stock stuff it took a long time to get it in the rear with a funnel....I don't even want to contemplate doing the front, even if 80-90 is thinner...
Is there a pump that can run off an air compressor that would work? Small compressors are pretty cheap, and seeing that you own an ATV it might just come in handy... I'm hoping someone knows also...
there must be an air-powered tool for doing this!..Hand powered sounds like too much work, after all thats what motor sports are all bout, screw pedaling!

Ironically enough I bought a manual pump from Pep Boys and I love it. It does not take a million pumps and it works very well for both thick and thin fluids. I also like the manual pump because it is real easy to put in just a tiny bit of fluid when you get close to having the tranny or diff filled.
If you can't find a power one, maybe just try a better quality manual. The one I got was about $18 if memory serves me.

I know that Amsoil sell a differntail fluid pump, screws right down on a quart bottle. If you interested you might PM Talkinghorse, he's the Amsoil rep on the site.

Thanks dude! This one worked great for Astro van rear diff AND for the Jeep's PITA front diff (Dana 30?) that was pretty much impossible to reach the fill plug before. The flexible tube just goes right in. I even put a longer tube on this pump for the Jeep and that made it a piece of cake.

Yeah, I have a 32 gallon 6hp compressor/tank setup for the garage to run my impact tools.
The evacuation equipment at the local Benz dealer I do work for runs off compressed air and hooks up to the same quick-connects that are on most impact tools. The systems are kind of pricey though. Works real fast. I have the Titan, the Jeep, the van (going bye-bye) and two ATVs so it might be a worth while investment in the long run.. sure would save time. I'll have to go look on JC Whitney.
It seems like every weekend I am changing oil, tranni, or diff fluid on something... especially during desert season.

if you happen to have the power outlet in the titan bed or for the other cars cut off those ali. clips and put on a lighter plug, lengthen the wire as needed
