Question Tow Capacity Differences XE to SE/LE (w/o BT)

Is there anyone out there that can list the differences, if any, between the XE, SE, LE as pertains to Towing capacity. I know their are different rear springs with the Big Tow on the SE/LE. What is different from the XE to SE/LE (without BT) that accounts for the towing capacity difference? Cooling? Gearing? Other? Does the XE also have the electric fan in front of the Radiator?

Just curious.

There are MANY posts on this so you can find more than you would ever wanted - and some of it is correct. The only real towing difference between BT and non-BT is a lower gear rear end. BT also includes the hitch, wiring, mirrors, larger capacity Bat. and a Trans. Temp. gauge. There is NO difference in the frame, springs, Rad., fans, etc. They all have the Tow switch. The difference in rating between the XE/SE/LE is the actual weight of the vehicle (small difference) and making you pay more for the vehicle so they can cover part of the added warranty. Hope this helps.
