oil smells like fuel?

Hey guys. My Titan has just under 2000 miles on it. At 1000 miles I got the factory oil out of it and replaced it with Mobil 1 5w30 and a new Nissan filter. Last night I checked the oil. The level was fine. The oil still looked brand new and did not feel gritty. Yet it smelled like fuel. Is this at all normal? Maybe b/c the engine is not fully broken in? The truck is stock with the exception of a Banks catback. I drive about 10 miles to work with a little stop and go and use 87 octane. Oil experts please chime in.

From what I have seen from UOA's, fuel can get into the oil when you do lots of short trip driving. FWIW.
