Tone Down Exhaust? - Revisited
Ok, for those who were interested, here's the deal. I put on one of those $130 exhaust tips, and received a very noticeable reduction of exhaust sound in the cab (Looks very cool!). For a separate reason, I installed a bed cover by Fold-a-Cover. Again, more sound reduction. Today, I had a Sprayed-On bedliner applied (something that came with the truck deal, but got it later). Now, my new Titan, purrs at about the same noise level inside the cab as the wife's V6 minivan, but at a "barritone" level. I'm happy and she's happy. Win-Win, as they say!

Interesting. Just got done reading the other thread. Have my K-cover on the way. So far I still LIKE the sound of the exhaust, but then again I've only been driving it for a few days... maybe it will start to get annoying.

I just had the Zoomers Canon tip installed. Definitely takes the drone out. The stock exhaust drone was wearing on me after 14k miles.
