Question Got my new Rear End.. change gear oil or not!?!

Hey just wanted some advice.... they put a 06 titan 4x4 on my o4 titan 4x4 beacuse they never know when they would be getting a rearend in.... and said I was # 27 on the list to get one!?! and the 06 has the new cover and already comes with the 75-140 synthetic... I had the 75-140 royal purple in the one that went BY BY... and I was thinking about putting 75-140 mobil 1 in it this time.... if I were going to change the rear diff gear oil, how many miles on the factory oil should I go?
Thanks for your time!

I would check the level ASAP and change it at 3,000 miles for the first time.

It's a good idea to make sure its full straight away. Then I'd inspect it after 1,000 miles. If it looks good at 1,000 I'd leave it alone then check it at 15,000 mile intervals. I changed the factory 80w-90 in mine at 15,000 miles or so and it still looked pretty good.
