Front differential oil

What oil should I use in the front differential? Do you have to use standard 80W-90 or could you used a synthetic like Mobil 1 75W-90?

i'm running mobil 1 75w90 with no problems. also mobil 1 75w140 in the rear and mobil 1 5w30 truck and suv motor oil.

I did the same. You could use 75W-140 in the front also but it probably isn't needed. BTW, mine was low from the factory. You might want to change your tranfer case fluid too. Mine was low there as well.

Nissan still specs 80w90 for the front I believe.

Right. 75W-140 would give you greater heat range but really isn't required for the front. The 75W-140 Cost too much anyway!!! :-)
