In a word, it's holding up perfectly. The truck is a lot more fun to drive, on road and off.

Awesome, thanks for the update. Anyone know a reputable shop in Houston to get it installed?

Randy

I can wait, let me know how it goes. I haven't ordered one yet, just trying to formulate a battle plan!

Re: Truetrac in Titan - Review

just ordered mine today from westcoast diff for 550, if you guys are interested you should give them a call and talk to ed at ext 113 to see if you can get a group buy going. Ed told me that they just had a group buy for a club at 490 so if your interested give them a call at 1-800-642-0950 ext 113 ask for Ed. If you get a order in this week they will order on monday and ship out the following monday so its about a 3 week turnaround. Also they are instock but dont know for how long. When I get mine installed ill put a post up. If you need me to find out if another group buy is available pm me and ill call ed tomorrow.

Re: Truetrac in Titan - Review

Got my TrueTrac installed this morning. Total cost for install was $227 (with Mobil 1 75-140 synth). All in all, my total cost for this mod was $738. Not bad.

I've already given it a few tests as well. Before TT I could do a pretty healthy peg leg burnout w/out power braking. Now it barely chirps when I go WOT from a dead stop. Nice launch! However, I can leave a nice dual patch when I power brake it.

Punch it around a corner and she kicks out the arse end purdy nice.

I love it! Awesome freaking mod, man!

Re: Truetrac in Titan - Review

OK, I got my TrueTrac in and have install scheduled on Thursday at a local off-road shop.

I asked them what oil they planned on putting in, and they said that they usually use 80-90 oil by Shell. Should I bring my own Mobil 1 75-140? They said that the Detroits like the 80-90. What do you guys think?

I think Austin is running 75-140 w/o problems. I might run the cheap stuff for 500 miles, drain it, and then put back 75-140.
