Too many mods to list PM me I'll tell ya.
If someone came out with a stronger (forged?) ring gear and pinion for us, the rear end would be indestructable. I doubt the axles would break or the splines shear.

I think Austin's lead foot and 37s will reveal any ring/pinion weakness in short order.

Have you seen our ring & pinion? I'm not a gear god, but I've seen a few r&p sets in my time and ours look impressive to me. Even in my first diff with exploded spiders, the ring & pinion were perfect.
Other half tons & vehicles w/D44 rear ends have 27 or 30 spline axles, ours are 32. The axle shafts themselves are also thicker than any other 1/2 ton. My axle shafts are thicker than my neighbor's 97 F350. (Is there a joke in there somewhere?)
I think with the Truetrac, our rear end is no longer a concern. I'm trying my best to break something (the next weakest link), but so far nothing has given.
We are looking at 8-10 week production wait, but man when these come out, there will be a HUGE Flurry of Sales, I am so glad these companies are finally starting to find the Titan when it comes to parts and Modifications.
thats awsome....someways better than a locker for traction...lockers can't shift tourqe to the wheel with traction....engine works less
Is the engine really working less? I think it reduces stress on the axle shafts and driveline components - might be wrong. The Truetrac is great if you do a lot of street driving, but if you're serious about off roading and demand the best traction possible, you flat out can't beat a full detroit or ARB locker. Sure a full Detroit will scare the hell out of you the first time you feel it engage on pavement around a street corner when you gas it, but if you do a lot of wheeling with your Titan (98% of us probably don't), a full Detroit or ARB are the only choices!
You are definitely right that you can't beat a Truetrac if you're on the street with your rig!
Your installation cost will depend on where you go to have it installed. I'd guess between $100-$200, but that's just a guess.
The final pricing on the Truetrac should be somewhere around $500, but again that's just a guess. I'm not connected to Detroit in any way other than I know a guy... so I can't tell you what the price is until they set it.
If its in this range i would opt for nissan to imburse some $$ and just replace with this if my diff goes out.

Seems like the motor would work less...If one wheel is in the mud and the other has traction the Trutac will send the majority of power to the wheel with traction. I’m just thinking out loud and comparing this scenario to a locker in the same situation...with the locker you would have equal power 2 the sliping wheel ...just seems more efficient in some ways..

I can now see A Titan staying in my yard. This is the only real reliability issue that I have with the Titans.
Thanks again!!!!!!!
You Da Man.

Yes I still have it for now. The brakes has not been the main problem, its been the two blown differentials. The truck has been in the shop for just shy of on month now for 12 different items now. I have talked with a regional rep and my case is in the arbitration group right now. They have called for the regional specialist to come and take a listen to what the mechanic called a "low end motor knock". But thats another story I haven't got into and dont want to untill I know exactly what is going on. If they get me another Titan and I can put this trutrac in, I should be ready to go.
