I an new to this site, was a previous Ford truck owner. I got tired of blowing spark plugs out of the heads, so went back to Nissans. I have not seen much about transmission coolers. My Titan appears to use the radiator cooler then goes to what appears to be a small air cooler at the top of the radiator. I do not have a trans temp gauge, is this enough cooling or is another air cooler worth installing.
I don't have the details, but ALL Titans have a factory aux cooler. Tow and No-Tow. I haven't heard of anyone adding another cooler. My opinion is that there is no need for one, whatever you haul.

As long as you keep in 4th gear with tow mode on when towing heavy weight shouldnt be a prob. And welcome to TT
Thanks guys for the reply, I do have a electric fan in front of the A/C condenser, figured it was for the A/C system. I have read other threads and most people think this fan is for the transmission cooler. I do not have the tow package on my LE. I may just install a temp gauge to actually see what the temp is running. I had two air coolers on my previous truck (one from factory and one I installed, Ford F150) and the oil temp ran never above 135 in the summer, and about 110 in the winter. It gets really hot here in Katrina land (New Orleans area) and it stayed cool with 2 coolers.
Most manufactures only put one cooler for the tranny. Some do put an oil cooler though.

Welcome to titan talk, I live just south east of you. I have not had any trouble with the tranny heat. No need to install another cooler.
