Differential fluid change?

I put in Mobil 1 75-90 in both the front and rear diff at 10k miles. I now have 25k and have 3 quarts of Amsoil 75-140 ready to go. How do I get it into the diff? The M1 was easy with the bottles they come in.

Secondly, is it worth changing out the front diff fluid again or should I wait longer?

Re: Differential fluid change?

I would think unles you've been using 4x4 a lot, then your front diff should be fine. I haven't touched the front diff oil since I bought my truck and have maybe 800-1000 miles in 4x4 (27K total). maybe try a funnel/hose combo for the rear like a beer bong....hmmm, beer....

Re: Differential fluid change?

Like a dummy, I threw away some old Amsoil bottle funnels that attach directly to their bottles. That would have been perfect.

Re: Differential fluid change?

Plastic or Metal hand pump works great. I put Amsoil in mine and the bottles are a pain. The front diff was changed at 35K and the fluid looked new. The rear had about 20K on it and looked like hot fudge.
