Re: Diff. Fluid Oil?Which is better?

I strictly use Redline in mine (for over 16K miles now). I think I paid ~$30/gal

Re: Diff. Fluid Oil?Which is better?

OK, I got my TrueTrac in and have install scheduled on Thursday at a local off-road shop.

I asked them what oil they planned on putting in, and they said that they usually use 80-90 oil by Shell. Should I bring my own Mobil 1 75-140? They said that the Detroits like the 80-90. What do you guys think?

I’m pretty sure SuperTech is Wallmart exclusive from ExxonMobil conventional low end line.

Re: Diff. Fluid Oil?Which is better?

Im going to be replacing my Rear Diff oil and cleaning up the rear diff case cuz it has a lot of built up gunk on it. Anyone know where I can buy a rear diff cover for an 04 that looks nice?

Back on topic.

So should I just use the Mobile1 like most people have suggested. I also heard its like 2 quarts rather than the normal 4 quarts (which is part of the rear diff issues?)
