Oil change

sorry for the dumb questions but I just bought my titan no long ago and it's calling for an oil change. I purchased some oil the other day but as I was reading up on some of the forums...what's dino oil? Basically what my question is, how many quarts does the titan take and what would be the recommending oil to use? Thanks.

Re: Oil change

Dino oil is just regular oil as oppose to synthetic (dino = dinosuars).
Our Titan take about 6.5 qt. of oil.

Thanks baseball....what type do you run in yours? they recommend running 5w30 but with temps in florida, they said it would be okay to run 10w30 also. wouldn't it be a lil thin for the truck?

Re: Oil change

I run Mobile One 5/30 here in Texas. Work just fine. Change every 5K miles.
