Gear Ratio

Have a 05 4x4 tow package what gears are in this truck. I tried to search can't find any thing thanks for the help.

Look on the passenger door sticker. there is a "C" number on the bottom of the sticker. If it says C29 that would be a 2.94 ratio. C33 would be 3.36 ratio etc.

well...my door sticker has "C29" and I have the big tow? The sticker on the axle is correct.

So, my sticker on the door is wrong are this is not correct info?

do you have the tranny temp gauge? If I'm not mistaken, that's another giveaway if you have the BT or not

OR also has the BT gearing, correct? Does it have the temp gage too?

no i have the OR but not the BT and i think it is the same gearing, but it doesnt have the temp gauge. im thinking about buying an aftermarket oil cooler, does anyone know if i can install a BT temp gauge where it should be?

Search for oil cooler, as there is some sort of oil cooling function std on the titan. No, I'm not talking about the Trans coolers, there is oil cooling already on it, not very big though.

i have a trans temp guage and not the big tow package. and my sticker is on the driver side door. it says c29

just checked my door and it has cc29! and i have big tow, 4x4. so i crawled under the truck to check the rear axle sticker. it has 3.357 gear ratio. was gonna be pissed if it had 2.94 ratio. but could the sticker on the rear axle be wrong?

I, too, have an axle code of "CC29" and I have BT. It would appear the assumption of "29" relating to the axle ratio would be incorrect.

the sticker is on the botton of the diff. right behind where the rear drive shaft connects to the rear diff. i had to wipe off my sticker because it was black from road grim.
