Can you isolate the clunk? Is it from under the hood? Dash? Rear seats? Under your feet? Mine is clunky when I'm parked on a slight incline and shift from park to R or D, but not while standing still. Personally, I would be concerned. Does it do it EVERY time? In other words, if you took it to a dealer, would it duplicate itself for them?
Could be the weight of the vehicle on the angled road causes the "unsettlement". I get it sometimes on my left front corner, but it's not consistent. It only does it certain places. I would bet it's a bushing. New poly bushings to replace the rubber ones might do the trick.
BTW...whenever you park on a slope, apply parking brake FIRST before putting gearshift in park, otherwise that clunk you hear may be your parking pawl going south.
I do that all the time. Still does it. Not as badly, but still does it. I need to adjust my parking brake now as I've noticed it goes further down without the tight engagement it used to have. [<<<Things about Titans that sound dirty, but aren't]

Can't be a bushing (unless all three trucks have defective ones)...all three trucks were/are low mileage, and overpampered...it's gotta be the street. Current Titan bought 12/29/05, just turned 2400 miles.

The sound is def not from the interior. It is under the hood or in the drivetrain somewhere. I really only notice it if I turn the truck over before i shut the door. It sounds like the truck is being shifted but its not and it doesn't lurch or anything.
I guess no one else has noticed this problem. HMM. I will probably try to isolate it then.
