Has anyone changed their gearing after running 35's? I'm getting the ProComp 6" and 35's, but am worried about the mpg's I'm going to lose. I've tried looking for the gearing, but can't find anyone who offers the gearing for the Titan. 4wheelparts said they don't even offer anything for the Titan. I can't believe that.
With the tow package, you already have the lowest currently available rear axle ratio. I think somebody posted awhile back that Randys Ring & Pinion was working on gears, but nothing seemed to ever come of it. With 4x4 you are going to need to match the gear ratios in front & rear diffs.
and some people with 35's get 11-12 mpg, might depend on how heavy the rims and tires you use (also width of tires)
For sure and how heavy the right foot is
FWIW I have forged 17" Centerlines, if I remember correctly somewhere in the 19-21lb range. Not sure on the weight of the tires, 8-ply 35x12.50 I'd guess in the 60-65lb range.

Here's something i have noticed now after having 5 different sets of tires on my titan. The tread pattern makes a much bigger difference in milage than i thought. I will explain but first the different tires and weights of each
1, stock se 6 spoke with stock tires...super conservative pattern aprox 75lbs
2, BFG 35/12.5-17 MT on MB motoring wheels, aggressive pattern aprox 98 lbs
3, BFG 315/70-17 AT on above wheels, less aggressive than above 97 lbs
4, Kumho 305/45-22 on ARE cartells, street/track tread, very smooth 96 lbs
5, BFG 37/12.5-17 projects on ARE chambers, less aggressive than AT 112lbs
Ok, the best milage was by far the stock wheels. Now here's where it gets weird, the 22's were only about 1/2" smaller than the BFG mt or AT (yes they are a big street tire) and weigh about the same, but i got 2-3mpg better milage and the ride felt much smoother. The MT seemed to get just a tad better milage than the AT, but basically the same. The new projects are bigger and heavier than the other bfgs, and, get this, my milage got better by about 1-1.5 mpg!! Has to be do to less rolling resistance due to less agressive tread. although i did loos a bit of acceleration due to a much larger od. this was before i swapped axles so i cant give any info on that yet. I know that the toyo/nitto/procomp 35s on an 18" wheel weigh around 125lbs and a 37 toyo on a wheel is around 145lbs!!! So combined with a heavy-*** rolling assembly and an aggressive tread, milage will suffer. But put some serious thought into tread design if milage is a concern.
My tires are HHEEAAVVVVYYYYYYY. They are 325/65/18 = 35/13.5/18 I know between the weight and tread they are killing me. I got 17/20 before my lift. Now I get a consistant 12. OOOOuch.

All 35 x 12.50/18 ProComp's claim to be 68.9 lbs (XTerrain, Xtreme AT, and MT) and their 18" wheels are around 30 - 32 lbs, both cast and forged aluminum. I've got the Xtreme AT's and 1059 wheels (98.9 lbs total) and run close to max PSI on the road. I usually get about 13 MPG Hwy and 11 city/traffic.
I also have a K&N CAI and Magnaflow cat-back which claim to give more MPG, but I got them at the same time as the lift and tires, so I don't know if they really make a difference or not.
