transmission service

I went to the delearship today to pick my keyless entry remote so i thought i would ask how much they charge for a transmission service. I have an 04 titan se with 46666 miles. I have been doing some reading on the forums and it is recommended a fluid change and filter change around 30k i told my dealer that and he said it is not recomened till at least 100k since it has a synthetic fluid in it, is this correct?

Re: tansmission service

I gotta say I don't mind the number on your mileage.

Re: tansmission service

Well its true that it has some sort of synthetic fluid. One of the dealers i go to says it isnt realy required until 60k, although i think a lot of guys here do it at around 30k as preventive maintenance.

Re: tansmission service

We always recomend doing it at 30k. And there is no filter to change. We charge around $120 for a complete trans flush. Takes about an hour.
