Count me in depending on price. I don't want the "crawler" gears but an little help from the gears with my bigger tires and towing would be cool... so say 3.73 for me... and the computer fix of course.
I would totally be in for gears. I am hoping it will get back my power and a little gas mileage.

Gears.... Oh man I down for new gears. I also notice a strange shift patern since lifting, but oh well. If gears could fix that WOOOHOOO. I planning on buying a larger trailer and could use more leverage.
I would be a buyer for front and rear 3.73's as first choice. 3.90's to 4.10's would be a second choice. Hook us up please.......

UPrev cypher has the ability to change gear ratios in the ecu.. RB's titan did his pm him to see how he did it..
It does??? I wasn't aware of any permanent changes except timing and idle. Is that the version 1.03? I have it and had not seen an option for this. Been using it this week. I'll hook it up in the morning.
Rb, please make post or tell us where you already posted details. Thanks.
Greg - I would be interested in 3.72 ratio gear set. It would work ut well for how I use my Titan. Add a Tru track and it would be goden. I have been putting off the trutrack so I don't have to do the rear end twice when gears become available.
However, a few questions and concerns you might want to bring up. First of all, those ratios seem awfully low for our trucks. If a Titan's stock 3.36 BT gear is equal to a 4:10 in other trucks, won't a 4:10 and especially the 4:88 be way too low? That would be great for crawling, or the drag strip, but probley not for daily driving. I think most people would be interested in a set of gears that would take a lifted truck with 35's back to the same performance as the stock 3:36. Which would be in the 3:53 range. And maybe have an option for a 3:73 for those that want to go just a little lower. Also, another issue is the Titan's computer. I know that RB's Titan is having some issues going from his stock 2:94's to the 3:36 BT gears. So wouldn't the issues be even more so with a much lower gear? The problems he is having is that the wheel speed sensors and the tranny sensor are seeing different speeds and it's causing some minor issues with cruise control, shift points, etc. So what would happen with an even greater gearing variation? Now don't get me wrong, I absolutley do want a set of front and rear gears, but I want to know they will work properly first.
Great Post !
My point to add is that with the 5 speed trans a 3:36 stock gear ratio is the equivalent to 4:10 gearing,I also have 35" tires and would be interested in returning closer to the stock ratio front and rear.Any radical type of gearing too far away from stock will play havoc with not only the ECM but possibly also the ABS sensors would read faster speeds than truck is traveling causing abnormal braking issues. If given the opportunity to chose I would want to correct the ratios as close to stock as possible using 35" tires.

That may be the ticket to eliminating the computer issues. If we replace with gears that will put you at the same ratio as OEM, the computer should see everything as if it's stock. However, guys like me that have the 2:94's who want to have a BT ratio with 35" tires might still have some computer issues.
I honestly think the best thing to do is get some gears out there and see what happens. I'm sure one way or another the problems can be resolved. But first we have to see what problems there will be.
Heck, my Titan is not my daily driver, so I would love to be a guinee pig.
Greg, I might be up for the 4.10 or 4.8. Sounds like these would work out well for offroading.
Regards,
John
