after reading here a thread on how to solve the squeaky noise from the back (leaf spring) I found the bottom of the truck w/oil stains firts thing comes to my head F*ck my rear end is leaking (see pict 1) I take a look further pass the rear end and I see my muffle w/oil mark... I take a closer look and I see that the oil is coming from transfer case (if Im correct on the part name) or is it transmission the truck is running ok I hear no sounds or feel anything wrong w/ it?
help me out guys what can I do?
is it the transfer case or transmission?
where can I check the oil level?
can I drive the truck to the dealership 20 miles from me or should I have it tow?

Re: needs help truck leaking oil from transfer case?
after researching I found this thread http://www.titantalk.com/forums/463749-post1.html by tillery444 I was able to find the loose bolt I am less worry now knowing where it was leaking from. I thightend the bolts a bit. I would take to the dealership tomorrow... how can this bolts just loosen up by themself?
I guess they dont have the same gorilla installing the transfer case!!
Re: needs help truck leaking oil from transfer case?
My transfercase had a folded seal and was fixed under warranty. This was noticed at around 2,000 miles. It would only leak when 4wd was engaged after it would drip onto the ground. Not a problem since the repair and 30,000 miles later.
