2004 Crew cab 2x4, 30 months old, 60,600 miles.
At 40,000 miles the trans cooler ruptured in the radiator allowing trans fluid to get in the radiator and coolant to get in the trans. They assured me that the trans was OK, but it never shifted right since. I have taken it back two or three times for them to solve the problem, each time they said there was nothing wrong with the tranny. Today they said the tranny would have to be replaced and no warranty. I told them that that was not acceltable because I had documented the problem before the warranty expired, they said that they would talk to Nissan on Monday and let me know.
A veteran is someone who, at one point in his life wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America' for an amount of 'up to and including my life.' That is Honor, and there are way too many people in this country who no longer understand that...

Your dealer sounds alot like the Nissan dealer in SARASOTA!! Terrible service. I will NEVER go back to them. They try to tell you nothing is wrong untill its out of warranty then everytime you take it in EVERYTHING is wrong with it. Best of luck to ya. Its going to be a uphill battle.

You are very lucky, I'm glad it worked out for you. I'm hoping for the same. My dealership is trying, have to deal with Nissan Canada though, that could be a different story.
Picked up my truck with new transmission, 0 cost to me but Nissan decline the good will request, so Patterson Nissan piced up the tab. The cost to them was $3,000. He also look up were I took the truck in Jan. the 9th at 43,000 miles, with transmission problems, and agin in June. When they pulled the pan last week, it was full of medal shavings
